Like you, Dr. Geen had noticed the slow rate of change in healthcare. In search of answers, she traveled to the United Kingdom to complete a Master’s in Translational Health Sciences (change & innovation) at the University of Oxford.
She met people from all different disciplines who were equally interested in influencing the fate of medicine. Policymakers, patients, physicians, lawyers, entrepreneurs, designers, and the list goes on. They all had the same story: our world has changed, and medicine has attempted to change with it, but not always at the speed or in the direction that we need.
The end result? A system that doesn’t seem to fully deliver for patients, healthcare workers, or society.
The solution? Healthcare needs a redesign, which includes flipping the physician lifestyle on its head.
